Varieties:<\/strong> Mainly Vermentino and Trebbiano with dozens of other varieties. The vineyards date back to 1905\/1908 and are planted at a high ampelographic variability.<\/p>\n

Vineyards: <\/strong>On terraces with 11,000 vines\/ha located in the Municipality of Carrara. The total planted area is about 4 hectares. The soils, with cover crops, are loamy-sandy with carbonates deriving from the breakdown of shale and mica schist sandstone<\/p>\n

Training system:<\/strong> 100% manual management on Guyot. Treatments are carried out with backpack sprayers and wheelbarrows. No chemicals are used.<\/p>\n

Harvest: <\/strong>By hand, medium late, in boxes and aided in rare cases by funicular rails. The harvested grapes are transported to the cellar of Fosdinovo (MS), renouncing the DOC.<\/p>\n

Vinification: <\/strong>Total destemming, fermentation on the skins for about 3 weeks with daily manual punch downs. Ageing in 10hL ceramic vats.<\/p>\n

Bottling: <\/strong>May, and release of the wines after another 8 months of aging in glass.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
