VIGNE BASSE

Colli di Luni DOC

Varieties: Vermentino 95% and Albarola 5%

Vineyards: Located in the municipality of Fosdinovo and Castelnuovo at an altitude of about 70 meters above sea level. The total planted area is 12 hectares with sandy-loamy soils rich in gravel.

Training system: Guyot with the first wire at 50 cm and an average planting density of 8,000 vines per hectare.

Harvest: By hand, carried out in September and divided in two stages according to the maturation of the different plots

Vinification: Soft systems to receive the grapes, short macerations, long pressing cycles, static settling, fermentation at controlled temperatures and aging on lees for four months in steel tanks.

Bottling: February, to enhance the fruit, with release of the wines after a few weeks.
