IGT Toscano

Varieties: Vermentino Nero 95% and Pollera 5%.

Vineyards: Located in the municipalities of Fosdinovo and Carrara.

Training system: Guyot with a yield that does not exceed 1.2 kg/vine. The vines are of different ages with a planting density from 8000 to 11000 vines per hectare.

Harvest: By hand, carried out in the second half of September and divided according to the ripening pattern of the different plots

Vinification: Soft systems to receive the grapes. Maceration and fermentation in cement with manual punch-downs and racking by gravity. Ageing on lees in cement vats.

Bottling: in June, with release of the wine one year after harvest.
