Colli di Luni DOC Vermentino

Varieties: 100% Vermentino from massal selections

Vineyards: Located in the municipality of Fosdinovo at an altitude between 250 and 420m above sea level. The five hectares vineyard is divided into 16 smaller plots. The soil, with an acidic pH, is schist and rocky, rich in iron oxide and carbonates.

Training system: Guyot, with an average planting density of 8,400 vines per hectare. The canopy is left untrimmed.

Harvest: By hand from mid-September to mid-October and carried out in 2 or 3 rounds per row according to the ripening pattern.

Vinification: Soft systems for receiving the grapes, cold maceration, fermentation in controlled temperature, divided into the different plots, with aging on its lees in stainless steel vats for 6 to 8 months.

Bottling: April/May with release of the wines after two months of aging in glass.
